FORTY WINKS

O’ stars of night let me sleep

a slumber one but very deep

don’t glare on my shadow and weep

My dreams shall be mine, dare if you keep

let your dreams come and make u glow

when memories of the past will flow

like an ocean in the dusk moves slow

then the bank of mine eyes will show

the depth of that smouldering pain

which I was feeling in the vain

let all the sorrows in my world slain

O’ my moon help me refrain

From the fire of life’s gun

This will burn me if I wouldn’t run

Now my odyssey has begun

Wake me up at the call of the sun

REMINISCENCE

When loneliness exist in night
When memoirs come with drought
Then beauty of pain flew from heart

when narrow branches of the plant caught
you, when you are in the garden of love
when the gloom reap and the dawn depart

withered sea of memories make you thirsty
sweet and silent a atmosphere of dove
then river of mementos pour out from two shores

when beloved voice caress the cheek
when it bloomed the scored off face
for a while it wash all the sores

when distances became finite from destination
when hopes are so nigh and are still
then ego egg on to recall the Eden

The dwelling of love's origination
then inevitably fortitude, solaces come
from the holy friends the stars, the moon

then flood stops and the drowse approaches
reminiscence ends allowing dreams to Welcome.
